Admin Rules

1. Aimbots:
- Only PUBLIC BOTS allowed (N7s, Invokes, Ice Bots, Iprokkas, Skullcrusher, GLHooks)
- NO bots with properties of Private bots are allowed e.g. 360 field of view, Auto aim, Autofire, Scope walk.

- NO Aim on Automatic for N7LITE
- NO ANTI-KICKBACK shit, dlls etc. -> if you cannot play fair with Oldskool bot and a simply cfg then Google is not a server for you

Note: Google admins should NEVER under any circumstances use illegal aimbots on the Oldskool server. They should be an example. If an admin breaks the rule and brings an illegal bot on the server, he is automatically kicked out of the clan and banned from the server and site. No second chances.

- Using abilities on another player or admin for stupid or no reasons, or because you don’t like him.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

List of Reasons to use Admin Abilities

Admin abuse is an ever increasing problem that we are currently trying to reduce. It cannot be stressed enough how unacceptable it is. Here are the basic rules.

The following are not acceptable:

1. Using your admin power to gain ANY advantage over others, this includes throw, launch, fling, (to yourself or others) gib, burn, slap, lol, putteam (to yourself or others).

2. Using your admin powers to extract revenge because you got owned. Saying “its ok I know that person” is not an excuse. If someone asks you to do an admin power like burn for e.g, on them, do it at your own risk, they could turn around and claim abuse on you, and it technically isn’t their fault.

3. Believing that you can do whatever you want because you have an admin level. I.e. illegal bots, saying whatever you want to people, outright disregard for ANY rule.

4. Doing setlevel on your friends etc., without permission from an owner or leader (this applies to all members as well as owners because rules are for everyone)

5. Giving promotions when you see fit, once again this is for an owner or leader to decide. Setlevel should only be used to strip someones level in extreme cases of admin abuse where there is no alternative (this applies to all members as well as owners because rules are for everyone)

6. Kicking or banning someone for no reason i.e to ask them what bot (using a slot number is advised to prevent accidents), see the: The correct system for illegal bots

7. Warning someone to talk to them.

8. Overuse of any admin powers, especially those that echo in the chatbox (!lol, !news etc.).

9. Restarting or nextmapping because YOU want to.

10. Banning somebody without sufficient warning, unless in extreme cases like a hacking threat.

11. Putteaming (to make the teams equal) people you want to instead of doing proper shuffle when required.

12. Putteaming people from spectators that are afk just to get more frags.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The correct system, for illegal bot is:

1. Ask them what bot, in pm or global chat.

2. If they admit to an illegal bot, ask them to remove it.

3. If they don’t remove it, don’t answer you, or tell you lies, warn them.

4. If they do remove it, help them as much as possible with obtaining and installing an oldschool bot, as you know we have then on our site.

5. If they continue to not remove the bot, or lie, kick them once, with the reason being exactly what they are doing wrong, as sometimes it may be a misunderstanding, but that doesn’t mean you do not enforce the rules.

6. If they come back with the same bot, ban them for one day.

7. If after that one day they still have not learned their lesson, then a permanent ban is now acceptable, but it can be less of you feel a permanent ban is not necessary

* In case of a danger, all of this can be skipped and a ban can be issued immediately

Admin rules for each power:

!admintest: this is to prove that you are an administrator, it is not to show off, etc. do not use it every time you connect just to see if it is still there.
!ban: this is a last resort for trouble makers. Not to be used without sufficient warning method implied, except in rare cases when you feel the server may be in danger etc, i.e hacker threat.
!unban: used only when an accidental ban has occurred, or when somebody needs to be unbanned, for this you will need permission from the admin who banned the individual, or from a higher authority, i.e owner, leader.
!burn: this is used against people who jump walls, use constant artillery strikes, flamethrower in the spawn area etc or people who continue to abuse other players.
!gib: same as burn
!slap: same as burn
!disorient: same as burn
!orient: used when you believe the lesson is learned.
!putteam: only used to even up teams, never to be used to sway the teams in your favor, put yourself on the better team etc.
!shuffle: only used when teams uneven to a point where it cannot be fixed by putteam.
!resetmyxp: used whenever you would like your experience point (xp) to be reset to 0
!resetxp: used as a form of punishment when someone is illegal botting, being abusive etc, although most people will not really care.
!help: used to see what admin powers you are able to do, does not need to be used every 5 minutes, unless hidden.
!launch(a): not used for anything specific, its just there. Not to be used on anyone (including yourself), as it is gaining advantage.
!throw(a): same as launch.
!fling(a): same as launch, although it is sometimes used to get people out of the water tank and such glitches.
!pip: not used for anything, makes funny fairy dust, but still should not be overused.
!pop: very, very, very mild form of punishment, but is still a little abusive, as not having your helmet makes u susceptible to more damage.
!setlevel: not to be used to give anyone level unless you have been instructed to be an owner or leader. Only to be used to strip somebody’s admin level in severe abuse cases, where ban is not necessary, but you feel the abuse must stop. If you are abused by a admin that is of higher level than you report to an owner or leader, or post it on our forums.
!mute: only used when somebody is being very rude and abusive on server.
!unmute: used when you believe the muted person has learnt their lesson.
!rename: only used when somebody’s name contains offensive or racial slurs, or they ask you to rename them ie put in colours.
!restart: used when someone walljumps and ends the game in about 3 mins, or with consent of about 90% of players. Also can be used if severe progress has been made in the match without most players loading. i.e capturing old city
!nextmap: with consent of about 90% of players, when there was an unnecessary restart etc.
!pause, !unpause: should not be used at pretty much ANY time.
!swap: used if all people vote that they would like to be axis, as oppose to allies and vice versa.
!lock, !unlock: should not be used, players should be allowed to join any team.
!reset: basically same as restart, shouldn’t be used.
!spec999: used when you see somebody with bad lag, to move them to spectators. Shouldn’t be used in the first 3 mins, as people could still be loading, and lose their spot on a team.
!passvote: I don’t know what its for, defeats the purpose of a vote if you ask me.
!cancelvote: if somebody makes a stupid or offensive poll.
!news: not to be used any more than once a game, especially when another !news is playing.
!showbans: again doesn’t need to be spammed every 5 mins
!listplayers: most commonly used command, but echos in the console, and does get annoying.
!balance: same as shuffle but more random, not recommended.

All guests are to keep in mind that an admin can and will use an ability against a player without his/her consent.

If you think that you have been abused by an admin, report it to a Site Administrator with the abuser’s name. Action will be taken against the abuser.
