OK let`s all let the poet the lay`s dormant within everyone .............out.
And what better thing to write about............Than ET.

So here it goes........off the top of my head:)

It`s A Hard Life For An Engineer:)

I labour long , my boot`s snow deep,
To lay the mine`s, to trap the peeps,
To stop the tanks and save my troops,
Mines all blown, go around in loops.

Waiting patiently by objectives,
Till some smart ass covie foils my motives,
Smoke satchel's, where's the dyno,
Damn , cover me, our things will blow now.

Defuse the dyno, ya nub engineer,
But there was nobody else while I was there,
But with lowest frags, and object blown,
Ah poor old eng, nobody tolerates ya moans.
LOL:)

An Axis Field Op

I run to the front line, ready for action,
Arty a chokepoint, watch their reactions.
Hide in a corner, run like crazy,
Watching out to make sure a covert op doesn`t make things look hazy.

Sadly, my double jump didn`t fit,
That panzer really gave me a lift.
I respawned, running and killing noobs galore,
Then I threw an airstrike marker and ran behind a door.
Saw somebody, took 5 shots,
Looked at the wall behind, saw 5 spots.

Before I knew it, I was dead,
Took a few shots to the head.
Looked at the time, there wasn`t much left,
I had to defend that gold crate, or I would be led,
To the truck, where many engis would be waiting,
My airstrike would fail, and I would be sent back to limbo.
And there would be no use, going all like rambo.

Done.

Ladies and mentlegen, my second opus:

Teh Sneaky Snipper D00d

On some rooftop, away from the fight
(Call me a coward and you’d be right),
Click the mouse twice and off go two rounds,
One more enemy’s face in the ground.

My victim’s comrades start to pursue,
Not knowing the trap they’re falling into.
Throw some smoke off to the right,
And head to the left to continue the fight.

My gullible foes head for the smoke,
But I’m not there in that misty cloak.
By the time they realize something’s not right,
It’s too late. They’re in my sights.

I was just able to write that because about 98% of the time i`m a field op, on axis. A thesaurus helps too, if you need one.

I try to sleep, but in my head,
I see the bodies of the dead,
I couldnt save em covie blew my mines,
Damn they do it all the time.

Go to field to cover troops,
But they return back in loops.
Go to med to revive the dead,
But wheres the engine they all said.
Damn I think im still warm in bed.

Was it real or just all a dream,
Did I really just save me team,
Did I really frag all the enemy,
Or did they all just frag me.

As I wake, yawn and realise,
Was just a dreaming exercise,
Ready for my next days play.
And once again to enter the fray.

Too stand by family and friends.
To do objective to the end,
Or defend our territory from the enemy,
Victorius once again for my infantry:)
