Football (American) Fans? Empty Football (American) Fans?

Post by Psychus Mon Sep 20, 2010 5:30 pm

Just looking to see what kind of football fans we have out there...Steelers fan here...big surprise...since I live in Steel City itself. Polamalu was like a human cricket out there yesterday the way he was jumping around. Plus I like how he isnt the stereotypical arrogant sports jock (unlike our suspended QB...). Anyone else with favorite teams/players?

GO STEELERS!!! cheers Cheers2

Football/Soccer here. I play, I don't follow professional sports aside from road/rally/hillclimb racing.

Yeah, Dis, I saw the Bears game yesterday, maybe there is hope for them yet.

...as for the rest of ya...I DID say "American" right? study scratch Wink
Dont get me wrong, I grew up in Kenya and so I know exactly what "football" means to most of the world...plus I love the game! But there arent any P'burgh pro soccer teams (though there is a semi-pro that I dont follow in the least bit...)

Always loved the Cowboys as a kid, now with Titans not too far from my home, i kinda pull for them! Im not a huge football fan, I prefer Basketball( Not the over paid cry babies in the NBA either) NCAA is real basketball! Go BIG BLUE!

@DQ hmmm, then this Sunday sucked for you, eh? Cowboys AND Titans lost...of course I was watching the Titans game pretty closely Very Happy. Of course our win definitely was not due to the offense...since they sucked, but definitely due to the awesome defense....Polamalu rocks!

@Sho two pro teams in PA, but no way in hades is one fan gonna cheer for the other team Shocked Wink

And P'burgh itself has 2 pro sports teams...Penguins (Hockey) and Steelers.
The Pirates (baseball) are supposedly pro but are working on creating a unbeatable record involving the most losing seasons in a row (currently at 16 or 17 I believe...) vomit2
