Just keep disconnecting for no specific reason

Well, ever since I unsuccessfully tried to fix my computer(F10 key broken, no recovery cd, no system32(lol anons) but data backed 
), I had to resort to using my laptop. But for some reason, I just keep disconnecting! I go in the server, sometimes in a few minutes, sometimes in seconds, I just disconnect. Right now, I currently have my cg_drawfps to 40, cl_timenudge to 0, maxpackets to a high number below 1338, currently using a modem connection, on vista I think home edition SP1.

Is PB kicking you? It seems to be a universal problem.

Try this and see if it helps. \pb_sleep 500 It may, or may not help at all...as the problem seems to be in pb's master server.
