For those of you on linux

For those of you on linux <3 i have some knowledge of playing games on linux <3 i personally don't like windows so if you need help doing it just ask we (several of us) can help ya playonlinux (lols)


i personally don't like windows (i don't like knowing when they don't tell ya whats under the hood <3) but i did some research and found out that steam will be releasing a linux client so once they do i will dump windows lol and fully switch back to linux <3 but for now i got a few games on linuxMint running but for now this is just a offer to help anyone else who would like to get their games running on linux <3 to know there is help out there <3

Ima stay w/ dual booting as soon as I get another SSD for a raid array. But, only bcuz I have soooo much winderz software that would go to waste otherwise. Nao, if someone would just perfect Wine...I'd switch full time.

It kind of makes me sick that my boot from post w/ 7 is about 14 seconds. But on Linux is 6 seconds....soooo much faster. I just don't have enough room currently for both, so more functionality is the only choice. :/

I'll go back to using linux on my laptop if they go through with it.

So if I go to linux when steam is available for linux will I be able to play all of my games without something like wine?

so far its only been rleased that the first games to move will be well css tf2 and a few others that are on mac but others will be released (l4d1/2) etc etc

I dual-boot with linux mint. I will always dual boot, but I may start using my linux side a bit more after this gets slightly better.

i use linux most of the time mate but frankly why are you posting in all these old posts?

I never really manage to check the date. I just post things. Maybe outta boredom, maybe out of a need to be active, maybe because I feel like it. I`ll stop if i`m breaking rules, though.

if you bothered to read the forum rules we don't like when people dig up old topics unless it has some relevance as in this particular situation, if you were using linux and were having trouble you could of asked for it or contributed some usefull information as of now ibm has a deal with ubuntu to offer their operating system as a alternative to windows

but then again idc ether way just don't bring up anything that is to old ok dude?
